Parent Regulation Support
Lesson 1 of 5
Parent meltdowns are real
When you lose it, it's not a character flaw. It's a tired nervous system.
Parents of neurodivergent kids run on chronic stress. Your fuse gets shorter not because you're a worse parent, but because your body has been holding it together for a long time.
This lesson is about naming that without shame, and starting to repair.
I Do / We Do / You Do
I do
I'll say out loud: 'I'm allowed to be tired. This is hard work.'
We do
When I lose it, we'll repair together: 'I'm sorry I yelled. That was about my big feelings, not you.'
You do
Do one repair this week. Repair is more powerful than a perfect response.
