Day 13 — Late Again, Still Learning
It's almost bedtime, and some of us are still carrying the whole day on our shoulders.
A kind word for tonight
The clock had reached the doorway before we found the key. I tried to hurry everyone; they couldn't match my speed. I thought that being louder might get us there on time. But simpler steps and extra room may help us find our rhythm.
Before we stress, let's assess
Before we stress, let's assess. More reminders are not always better than a predictable sequence.
Step 1. Tonight’s reset
STOP: pause.
BREATHE: slow it down.
SAY WHAT THEY NEED: "We have one step right now: shoes."
Step 2. I DO → WE DO → YOU DO
I DO: model it.
WE DO: practice together.
YOU DO: try with support.
Step 3. One small action
Build a short visual morning checklist.
Tomorrow, we can practice again. Spot the clue. Know what to do. We made it through the day.
