Turn 4 of 6 · Behavior GPS Sequence

🗣️ Tonight's Script

Word-for-word what to say in the moment.

This classroom is the practice. You learn the move and try it at home. The Behavior Struggle Map is the separate paperwork — the filled-in logs, letters, and plan for the school. We do not repeat it here.

You never freeze again. The words are already in your mouth.

What you walk away with

Three scripts saved to your phone for your hardest moments.

Lesson 1 · 7 min

The 3-part script formula

FREE

Name it, hold the limit, give the next step. That order keeps the fight short.

  1. Step 1: Name the feeling — "You are mad the tablet went off."
  2. Step 2: Hold the limit once, calm — "The tablet is done for tonight."
  3. Step 3: Give the next step — "You can pick the book or the blocks."
  4. Step 4: Stop talking. Count to ten in your head.

Say this

  • "You are mad. I get it. The answer is still no."
  • "I am right here. You do not have to be calm to be loved."
  • "Pick one: this or this."

I Do

I write a script live for the struggle a parent brings.

We Do

We build your script together in hot-seat coaching.

You Do

You use it tonight and report how long the fight lasted.

This week: Save one script in your phone notes. Read it before bedtime.

What not to say (and the swap)

Members

Some sentences add fuel every single time. Swap them and the room cools down.

  1. Step 1: Cut "calm down" — swap to "I am right here."
  2. Step 2: Cut "why did you do that" — swap to "what did you need?"
  3. Step 3: Cut "if you don't..." — swap to "as soon as ___, then ___."
  4. Step 4: Cut the countdown from 3 unless you will finish it.

I Do

I read the fuel sentences and the swaps back to back.

We Do

We catch your fuel sentence together — no shame, everybody has one.

You Do

You swap one sentence this week.

This week: Pick your one fuel sentence. Write the swap under it.

Scripts by struggle

Members

Yelling, hitting, screen fights, bedtime, morning — each needs different words.

  1. Step 1: Pick your struggle from the list.
  2. Step 2: Copy the matching script.
  3. Step 3: Change the names and the object to fit your house.
  4. Step 4: Read it out loud three times before you need it.

I Do

I hand you the script library for 12 common struggles.

We Do

We tune one script to your child's language level.

You Do

You run it for three nights and post what changed.

This week: Practice your script out loud in the car. Out loud matters.
