60-second YouTube Short script

[HOOK — 0:00–0:03]
It's day 4 of summer and I already want to cry.

[BEAT 1 — 0:03–0:12]
Same. The melt-downs are bigger. The screens are longer. Bedtime fell apart.
And the school structure that was holding your kid together? Gone.

[BEAT 2 — 0:12–0:25]
Here's what nobody tells you: your kid isn't getting worse.
The scaffolding got taken away. That's it. The behavior is the scaffolding screaming.

[BEAT 3 — 0:25–0:40]
You don't need a 47-color printable schedule. You need 4 steps:
1. Log the next hard moment. Two taps.
2. Let the app find the trigger you keep missing.
3. Get the plan — one page, plain words, made for YOUR kid.
4. Try ONE thing tonight. Not ten. One.

[BEAT 4 — 0:40–0:52]
That's it. That's the summer reset.
No "perfect mom" routine. No 6am wake-ups. No guilt.

[CTA — 0:52–0:60]
Link in bio. Free. Built by a tired parent like you.
Save this for your next bad day.

6-minute long-form script

INTRO (0:00–0:30)
School's been out for what — a week? Two? And the house feels like it's coming apart.
The melt-downs are bigger. The siblings won't stop fighting. The screens are on more than they're off. And bedtime — bedtime is a rumor at this point.
You are NOT failing summer. Something specific happened to your kid's brain when school ended, and once you see it, you can fix it. I'm going to walk you through what's actually going on and a simple 4-step calm plan you can start TONIGHT. No printables. No 6am yoga. No shame.

WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED (0:30–1:30)
The school day was holding your kid together. The bell. The schedule. The teacher's voice. The bathroom break at 10:15. ALL of that was scaffolding their brain was leaning on.
When summer hit, the scaffolding came down overnight. So now their brain has to do all that work — and yours does too. That's why the melt-downs got bigger. It's not regression. It's a load that just doubled.

THE 4 STEPS (1:30–5:30)

Step 1 — Log the next hard moment. Two taps. (1:30–2:30)
The very next time it goes sideways, open Bright Steps and tap two things: what was happening right before, and how big it got. That's it. Don't write a paragraph. Don't journal. Just two taps.
Do this for three days. You'll have something nobody in your life has ever given you about your kid: real data.

Step 2 — Let the app find the trigger you keep missing. (2:30–3:30)
You're too tired to see the pattern. That's not a flaw — that's a parent in survival mode. The app will look across your logs and tell you: "It almost always happens between 3 and 4pm" or "It's right after a screen ends" or "It's when the baby naps and your big kid has to be quiet."
That's the trigger. That's the lock. Now we have the key.

Step 3 — Get the plan. (3:30–4:30)
One page. Plain words. Built for YOUR kid by name. Not generic. Not clinical. Things like: "At 3pm, before the dip, do a 5-minute snack-and-water reset" or "When the iPad ends, swap to the wind-down sound — not silence."
You will read it in 3 minutes. You will know what to try.

Step 4 — Try ONE thing tonight. Not ten. ONE. (4:30–5:30)
This is the part most parenting advice gets wrong. They give you twelve strategies and you do none. We give you ONE. The one most likely to work for YOUR kid this week. You try it. We track if it helped. We tweak from there.

WHAT TO DO RIGHT NOW (5:30–6:30)
The link is below this video. It's free. No card. No diagnosis required.
Click it. Log the next hard moment when it happens — even if it happens in 20 minutes. By Sunday you'll have your first pattern.
You don't need to fix the whole summer tonight. You just need ONE calmer hour. We'll build from there.
You are not failing. You are tired. There's a difference. I'll see you inside.
